After shares of his electric-vehicle manufacturer rebounded on Tuesday, Tesla’s billionaire CEO and co-founder, Elon Musk, is again the richest person in the world. Jeff Bezos is now again the second richest person, just $1.4 billion below him.

On Tuesday, Tesla’s shares rose by 4.7 percent, bringing the net worth of Musk up by $7.8 billion, to $183.8 billion. According to Forbes’ calculations, that bumps him up to number one as the richest person on the planet. Musk is now just ahead of Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, who has a net worth of 182.4 billion dollars.
Last Friday, Musk first passed Bezos to hold the world’s wealthiest individual position, but then fell to the No. 2 positions on Monday as Tesla shares dropped nearly 8%.
